I bought this oil initially because I wanted a product that would really help my hair growth, which has always been slow.
Searching the Internet led me to Mira Hair Oil. Although at first the product seemed expensive, compared to what is available in shops, I decided to try it because of the Money Back Guarantee. There seemed little to lose and, hopefully, much to be gained.
This oil has helped already my hair to look and feel better in a very short time. And I notice a distinct improvement in the growth rate.
Mira Oil is very nice to use because it is easily absorbed when massaging into the scalp, and is neither thick nor sticky, unlike some other products I have tried. I do not detect any fragrance as such, which is a blessing for people like myself with sensitive sinuses and a tendency to allergic reactions to highly-scented products. The oil is runny and free-flowing but not thin, and I find it very easy to work with.
I have only been using Mira Hair Oil for about four weeks. The first noticeable improvement I recognised was after using it three times. My hair felt softer and was more glossy.
I use it in a way I find best for me personally, but which may not suit everyone and differs slightly from the way suggested on the website. My hair is of the ‘Irish / Celtic Red’ type, which is curly, tends to frizz and be quite dry. On first using the oil I noticed my hair just drank it in, literally, and even after a good massage I thought the oil had been absorbed to the extent that nothing residual was left! So I decided to not only leave it in all day and night, but I did not wash it out next day, as my hair did not look at all greasy and there seemed no need to wash it. I covered my head with a cotton scarf on the first night in case the oil stained the pillow case, but there was nothing on the scarf next morning. Now, just to make sure the pillow case remains presentable, I just turn it over and sleep on the reverse side, with no need to wear a scarf! There is no problem, but I think best to try first, especially if you have expensive luxury bedding.
After a couple more days I then applied another dose of oil (one teaspoon as advised) and repeated the procedure, this time noticing that the absorption rate was not as dramatic as at first, so clearly my hair and scalp were already moisturised and nowhere near as dry.
I left the oil on all day and night, and again did not wash out next day, for the same reason as before.
I repeated the procedure after a couple more days, and washed my hair the next morning using the Gro Shampoo.
The effect was remarkable; soft manageable hair that was, for the first time in years, SHINY! I was delighted, and have since followed my own method of application and washing frequencies.
The shampoo is also worthy of a mention. It is lovely and thick, again with no overpowering fragrance, and you only need a very small amount to get a lather, but because I wash my hair after three applications of oil, with the relative build-up, I give my hair two washes. For the first wash I use about a level teaspoon, being sure to massage well in for about one minute, and for the second wash I only need a quarter of that to get a full lather, which I leave on until the end of my shower before rinsing out.
The bonus is, I no longer need to use a conditioner either!
Because my hair was formerly so dry and lack-lustre I have never, ever, been able to manage without using conditioner, so this is a fabulous ‘first’ for me.
My hair is growing well. I had it cut very short a couple of years ago because the condition was terrible, it split and broke easily even with regular trims and was so hard to manage that I wore it up all the time. When I bought this oil I was in a mind to grow my hair again but due to its normal slow rate of growth I wasn’t convinced I could do this. Now, I know I can grow my hair to a reasonable length in a relatively short time, because already it is looking longer than it ever did during a period of one month’s growth. I estimate, for my hair, a new growth-rate of about one to one-and-a-half inches already over the past four weeks. I haven’t even needed my regular trim for weeks, because the ends are not at all dry or tangly yet, although I will have one soon just to ensure strength remains in the ends, but I shall only need about a quarter to half an inch taken off as opposed to the almost an inch (or more) I used to have to get cut off before, to remove the dry ends.
I feel I can recommend Mira Hair Oil to anyone seeking results like the ones I have described. I would be telling them the truth, and being totally honest, but would ask them to bear in mind that the benefits I have described are pertaining to me personally. We all have different hair, which behaves and grows in varying ways, but if this oil can do so much for mine (which has been difficult for years, especially after having 6 months’ chemo for Breast Cancer ten years ago) I feel it has the potential to improve the condition and growth of anybody’s.
